Finally a day from all the training....which gives me time to
reflect on the craziness of the Espy's. After a week of
practicing, it seems like it was months ago.
I don't know what ever possessed me to schedule my practice at
10 30am, the day following the Espy's but it was one I'll never
make again. How do people function after a night like that? It
is honestly a very exhausting job.
The show was very entertaining....so a big round of applause to
Kimmel and Lebron. It's very cool to see an athlete such as
Lebron, who you normally see on the b-ball court, co-host an
award's show as if it's simply 'no big deal'. Now that's talent!
It was also nice to sit next to a friend instead of your manager
for a change, (sorry Max)... So funny that Camilla actually
presented the award I won....and no, neither of us knew that was
going to happen. We were saying how cool would it be if in a few
years I will present her an Oscar...you never know!
Some highlights from the week:
Presenting with Josh Duhamel......gotta admit I was one lucky
girl! It's actually refreshing to meet people that are very real
and funny. He had just got off the set of shooting his show and
had to return filming right after presenting.
Getting payback with Lebron on stage (after he beat me at our
Nike running competition, and since then is calling me a water
girl) I told the audience I knew there was a mistake and the
International Female athlete award goes to him....we had a good
laugh about it back stage.
Wayne Gretzky telling me he's a huge fan......wow wow wow!!
Randomly bumping into Paris Hilton in the bathroom.....and
asking me where I got my dress, it's hooooot. Ummm in Paris, I
said. Haha That was pretty entertaining.
Jamie Foxx is one of my new favorite comedians! At the
after-party he started imitating the funniest forehand motions
in the middle of the dance floor and asking me what I think he
should improve on. I'm like just do yourself a big favor and
quit.....he was hilarious!
A big thank you to Michael Kors for sending me the hottest new
bag of the season...looove it!
Since it's my day off I'm not going to spend too much of it
looking at a computer screen....rather hit the ocean and go
boogie boarding ( for the kiddie ones that don't surf).
